What Our Customers Think

"Mr. Lundy is true to his word. He listens and works with customer needs. His staff are outstanding, competent and friendly. Excellent work and a fair price."

Martha Norris
"Lundy’s Lawn Care did a great job during this pandemic to make sure someone would be out to take care of our property when I know he must have been short on workers during this time. He is always very professional and returns all of my calls or texts."

Dianna Swisher Cochran
"A great company from start to finish. Aaron Lundy and his crew came to the rescue after a previous lawn company left my yard in a terrible condition. After notifying Aaron of my lawn condition, he got back to me the next day. I explained to him a little of what I had in mind and the type of "look" I wanted. The look was very specific. He walked the property and shortly had the dollar amount for the job I requested; landscaping, irrigation, mulch, mowing etc., broken down in an easy to follow chart. Aaron and his work crew were diligent, hard working, and very professional each time they provided lawn services..."

Sabrina B
"Aaron and his crew at Lundy’s have taken care of our snow and ice removal since November and I couldn’t be happier with the service they have provided. Our parking lot, dock, and sidewalks at the Post Office have been cleared and ready for business every morning this Winter."

Mark Sheets
"We used Lundy’s last season and they were great! On time, professional, and responsive if there were questions about their services. We have moved to a new home and will highly consider them for their lawn care services and landscaping again."

Levi Gillespie
"Aaron and his crew provide a one stop shop service for me and my family. Timely, responsive, and well equipped to handle your Landscaping and Lawn Care Needs. He started in mowing our yard for 2 summers while my husband had extended travel. Here is what I will leave you with - Homeowner told Aaron how she “thought she wanted it the underpinning completed”... and Aaron wasn’t satisfied fully with the overall look — and went to the local Farm Bureau, picked up a can of spray paint, painted all the exposed decking boards underneath the deck so the underpinning looked flawless. He just knew it needed to be next level and took the time to do it “right the first time”

Rachael Beverly
"Lundy’s Lawn Care does an amazing job! They are always professional, they do an excellent job- our lawn always looks amazing when they finish. The professionalism and attention to details is unmatched! Definitely refer my friends."

Rodney Stamper
"Lundy's Lawn Care provides snow removal for our property and have proven to be efficient and reliable. Highly recommend them to anyone!"

Rhiannon Powers
“Aaron the owner came to our house for an estimate on some yard work we need done. He was on time, very professional, and extremely helpful/informative with our questions. I would highly recommend this company for others and it will definitely be the one we use.”

Abingdon, Virginia

Abingdon is a town in Washington County, Virginia, about 133 miles southwest of Roanoke. The population was 8,191 at the time of the 2010 census. It is as Washington County’s county seat. The town contains several historically significant sites and has a vibrant fine arts and crafts culture focused on the galleries and museums on Main Street.

The region was long habitat to indigenous peoples of several civilizations, including the Chisca and Xualae. It was occupied by the Cherokee Nation, whose dominion extended from the present-day borders of Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky through the spine of North Carolina and eventually into Georgia, beginning in the late 17th century.

The National Register of Historic Places includes the Abingdon Historic District, Abingdon Bank, Mont Calm, Moonlite Theatre, Dr. William H. Pitts House, White’s Mill, and Baker-St. John House.

Okay, so technically this is only a church, but it is worth a visit because it is centrally located on Main Street. The Episcopal Church was founded in 1841, and the initial building was consecrated in 1846 by Bishop John Johns.

Later, it was damaged by fire and rebuilt in 1925. It houses an Eleanor Roosevelt-gifted Bible that was presented to replace one that was destroyed in the fire.

If you’re searching for a lovely, historical spot to eat, look no further than The Tavern Restaurant, which is located in one of Abingdon’s most historic buildings. The structure dates back to 1779 and was originally established as a tavern and overnight inn for stagecoach tourists.

Henry Clay, Louis Philippe (King of France), Pierre Charles L’Enfant, and President Andrew Jackson were all frequent visitors at the Tavern.

This 11-acre cemetery, divided by Russell Road, became the burial ground for enslaved persons held by the same Presbyterians over time.
